DOTS Phone
A phone-based prototype for accessible conversation in care contexts.
DOTS Phone is a phone-based prototype within the broader DOT tool. It uses the familiar logic of the telephone to support accessible conversations in care settings and to gather residents' wishes, needs and everyday signals.

Rather than adding another digital layer, the project works with a device people already understand. The aim is to make interaction easier to approach and easier to use in practice.
Early tests showed that even short conversations can produce relevant input around routines, preferences, autonomy and the feeling of being at home. DOTS Phone is still a rough prototype, but it already suggests a clearer way of listening within care settings.
